ROMNEY MARSH DIRECTORIES HELD

1. Pike's Weald of Kent & Romney Marsh directory for 1884-5  (Thought to be a one-off edition. No others recorded.)

2. Gerring's Guide, Almanac & Tide Table, 1913 New Romney, Lydd & Littlestone.  (Incomplete, and only lists the residents of Littlestone.)

No other copy is known to exist so I cannot replicate the missing pages for Lydd & New Romney. No library has it. Curiously, this publication does not seem to have been published by Geerings, although it does contain Ashford advertising.  It is inconceivable that such a mistake between Gerring and Geering could have been made in a time when mistakes simply didn't happen. Printers were punished with fines if they made a mistake, so it would appear that this would have been a publisher that simply had a similar name.  Unfortunately, there are no internal clues as to the address of this publisher probably due to certain missing pages.
